MAD Calculator processes your numbers locally in your browser. The calculation code does not upload your entries or results to a server, put them in the page URL, or store them in a database.

While you use the calculator

Your input and result are held in the page while you use it. Clear removes the input and displayed result. The site does not provide saved calculations or a calculation history.

Your browser may manage form restoration or session recovery independently. Clearing this page does not delete anything you copied to your clipboard or saved elsewhere.

Cookies, storage, and third-party features

The current website code does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage to save your data. It does not include advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, account registration, or payment processing.

The site uses locally served styles, scripts, and images rather than embedded third-party fonts or media. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or account to use the calculator.

Website delivery and access information

Visiting a website involves network requests, even when its calculations run locally. The infrastructure delivering this website may process technical information such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time to deliver files, maintain security, or diagnose errors.

This technical access information is distinct from the numbers you enter. The calculation code does not send those numbers with website requests. This policy does not promise that hosting infrastructure keeps no access logs.

The website links to external resources, including NIST’s statistics reference. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. That service receives the network information associated with your visit; calculator inputs are not added to the link.
